Jim Keefe is the current artist of the Sally Forth comic strip. From 1996-2003 he was the writer and artist of the Flash Gordon comic strip. A graduate of the Joe Kubert School, Keefe likewise teaches Comic Art. Teaching and speaking engagements include SVA in Manhattan, Hofstra’s UCCE Youth Programs, and most recently the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

I know it’s a comic strip, but this seems like some sort of jumping the shark moment. I applaud creative freedom, but…I guess we’ll see.

Funny thing is Francesco and I see this as business as usual.The Kaiju theme park, Comic Con and RV storylines were the same ways – things we’re familiar with that feed into material for the strip. A Halloween themed story seemed like a natural so we thought we’d run with it. That said, hope you stay tuned. We had fun doing it and hope you get a kick out of it as well!
