Responding to a Pandemic.

Jim Keefe and I decided pretty quickly to address the “new normal” and dump a month of already-penned scripts. (This week you would have been seeing the school dance if the world was the previous world if that world can still be recalled). That said, any strip that chose to do otherwise is also correct. We just get through this day by day, clinging to our insanity like a dear friend.

Gotta tell you guys that your strip has been in my top five for awhile. The last standing newspaper here is kind of limited comics-wise, but we still have Sally Forth, Pearls Before Swine and Rhymes With Orange. On Sunday, I fold the comics in a way that it’s the last page. Then I save it til last. (Of course, weekdays you come right after “Ask Amy” and you’re on the same page and all.) Anyway, thanks for what you’ve given me; thanks for what you guys do; take care, be well; and keep it up! Thanks again –

Yes. I’m kind of a Ted …

I read your strip every day. I’m part of your “audience”. Thank you for brightening my day. It’s important to keep relevant and at the same time to provide humor during these difficult times.

Thanks for keeping it real! I took note that you are the only comic scrip to deal with reality as it is and getting that we have to accept and maybe laugh at our new reality, it’s better than crying. I appreciate the charaters not communicating the same “problems” as always!

Thanks! It’s definitely a juggling act. Hopefully we’ll have more hits than misses.
