After getting his rough to a certain level of completion, Al then transfered his ink rough to bristol board and continued with partial pencils. This is done with the aid of a light box. You may notice he chose to change the female figure in the last panel. Time constraints prohibited him from doing the inset panel. Upon receiving it I then lettered it using a C-6 pen point. Another option for lettering is doing the type on the computer, but I prefer to use a dip pen. I tend to like the look of hand lettering better and it helps me keep a controlled hand for inking.
